2 ripe peaches, sliced into thin wedges

4 oz brie cheese, sliced

4 slices of crusty bread (such as sourdough or ciabatta)

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Fresh basil leaves (optional, for garnish)

Pinch of sea salt

Honey, for drizzling (optional)

Caramelize the Peaches:

    In a medium skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the sliced peaches, followed by the brown sugar and vanilla extract.       Prepare the Bread:
