Ingredients

1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced into strips

1 bell pepper (any color), thinly sliced into strips

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

4 large flour tortillas

1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or a Mexican blend)

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 cup salsa (store-bought or homemade)

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Heat the Pan: In a large skillet, pour in the olive oil and heat over medium-high heat until shimmering.

Cook the Chicken: Add the sliced chicken strips to the skillet. Sprinkle the chicken with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is fully cooked and juices run clear, ensuring no pink remains.

Add Veggies: Toss in the sliced bell pepper and onion into the skillet with the chicken. Stir continually for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the vegetables to soften and the chicken to develop a golden-brown color.

Warm the Tortillas: While the chicken and veggies are cooking, wrap the tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave them for approximately 30 seconds. This will warm the tortillas and make them more pliable for wrapping.

Assemble the Wraps: Lay a warm tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spoon a generous amount of the chicken and vegetable mixture into the center of the tortilla. Top with a sprinkle of shredded cheese, followed by a dollop of sour cream and a spoonful of salsa.

Wrap It Up: Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll from the bottom up, ensuring the filling is tightly secured within. Repeat this process for each tortilla.

Serve: Slice each wrap in half diagonally for an appealing presentation. Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro on top. Serve with extra salsa on the side for dipping if desired.

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 25 minutes | Servings: 4 wraps

                  - Presentation Tips: Arrange the sliced wraps on a colorful plate, drizzling a little extra salsa around for a decorative touch, and sprinkle more cilantro on top for freshness.
