Ingredients

2 ripe bananas

1 cup vanilla Greek yogurt

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (your choice)

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1/2 cup pecans, finely chopped

1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

Popsicle molds or paper cups

Popsicle sticks

Instructions

Prepare the Bananas: Start by peeling the ripe bananas and slicing them into rounds approximately 1-inch thick. This ensures they blend well and incorporate evenly into the yogurt mixture.

Blend the Mixture: In a high-speed blender or a food processor, combine the sliced bananas with the vanilla Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and pure vanilla extract. Blend until the mixture reaches a smooth, creamy consistency, ensuring there are no lumps.

Incorporate Extras: Transfer the blended mixture to a mixing bowl and gently fold in the finely chopped pecans and mini chocolate chips, if using. For an added flavor kick, sprinkle in the ground cinnamon and mix until evenly distributed.

Fill the Molds: Carefully pour the banana-yogurt mixture into your popsicle molds or paper cups, filling each about three-quarters full. This creates room for the pops to expand as they freeze without overflowing.

Insert Sticks: For popsicle molds, follow the mold's specific instructions to insert the sticks securely in the center of each mold. For paper cups, place a stick directly in the middle of each filled cup.

Freeze: Place the filled molds or cups upright in the freezer. Allow them to freeze for a minimum of 4-6 hours, or until they are completely solid to the touch.

Unmold the Pops: To release the frozen pops, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds. This will help loosen the pops. If you used paper cups, carefully peel the cup away to reveal your homemade pops.

Serve & Enjoy: Treat yourself to these delightful Frozen Yogurt Banana Pecan Pops! They are a perfect refreshing snack for a warm day or anytime you crave something sweet and healthy.
