1 cup rolled oats

1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

1/2 cup honey or maple syrup

1/2 cup almond butter (or any nut butter of your choice)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup mini dark chocolate chips

1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional; walnuts or almonds work great)

Extra mini dark chocolate chips for topping (optional)

Prepare the Baking Dish: Begin by lining an 8x8-inch (or similar-sized) baking dish with parchment paper. Make sure to leave some parchment hanging over the edges; this will make it easier to lift the bars out later.

    Combine the Base Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, almond butter, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix thoroughly using a spatula or wooden spoon until the ingredients are well integrated, creating a thick and sticky mixture.

      Incorporate Chocolate and Nuts: Gently fold in the mini dark chocolate chips and chopped nuts (if using), ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the mixture. This adds wonderful texture and flavor!

        Transfer the Mixture: Pour the mixture into your prepared baking dish. Use a spatula to carefully spread it out evenly and press it down firmly. This helps to compact the mixture, ensuring the bars will hold their shape once frozen.
