1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped

1 tablespoon fresh basil, finely chopped

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 large egg

2 tablespoons olive oil (for cooking)

For the Zesty Dipping Sauce:

1/2 cup Greek yogurt

1 tablespoon mayonnaise

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 clove garlic, minced

Salt and pepper to taste

Chopped fresh herbs (parsley or dill) for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper to ensure easy cleanup.

Mix the Meatball Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, carefully combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped basil, dried oregano, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Add in the egg. Use your hands or a spatula to mix the ingredients until just combined; take care not to overmix as this can make the meatballs dense.

Form the Meatballs: Take a small amount of the mixture and shape it into a meatball approximately 1 inch in diameter. Use your hands or a small ice cream scoop for uniformity. Place the shaped meatballs on the prepared baking sheet with enough space in between each to allow for even cooking.

Cook the Meatballs: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the meatballs in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Cook them for about 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally until browned on all sides. Transfer the browned meatballs back to the baking sheet.

Bake to Finish: Once all the meatballs are browned, bake them in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until they are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Prepare the Dipping Sauce: While the meatballs are baking, prepare the zesty dipping sauce. In a small mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic. Stir well until smooth and season with salt and pepper to taste. For a fresh finishing touch, garnish with chopped herbs.

Serve: Once the meatballs are finished cooking, remove them from the oven and allow them to cool for a couple of minutes. Serve warm with the zesty dipping sauce on the side for dipping.

                  - Presentation Tips: For an appealing presentation, arrange the meatballs on a serving platter and accompany the dipping sauce in a small bowl at the center. Garnish with additional fresh herbs around the plate for added color and freshness. Enjoy your meal!
