Ingredients

1 cup rolled oats

1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)

1 cup coconut milk yogurt (or your preferred yogurt)

1 tablespoon turmeric powder

1 tablespoon chia seeds

1 tablespoon maple syrup (adjust based on your sweetness preference)

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

A pinch of freshly cracked black pepper (to enhance turmeric absorption)

Toppings: Sliced banana, chopped nuts (such as almonds or walnuts), shredded coconut, and an extra sprinkle of cinnamon

Instructions

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add rolled oats, turmeric powder, chia seeds, ground cinnamon, and black pepper. Use a whisk or spoon to mix these dry ingredients until they are well combined and evenly distributed with the spices.

In a separate bowl or measuring jug, pour in the almond milk, coconut milk yogurt, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Whisk these ingredients together vigorously until the mixture is smooth and all components are fully blended.

Gradually pour the liquid mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients, stirring as you go. Continue mixing until every bit of the dry oats is moistened and the mixture is thoroughly combined.

Carefully divide the prepared mixture into two mason jars or airtight containers, ensuring equal portions in each.

Seal the jars or containers securely and place them in the refrigerator for overnight chilling. Allow the oats to soak for at least 4 to 6 hours, letting them absorb the flavors and soften to your desired texture.

Upon waking, retrieve the jars from the refrigerator and give the oats a good stir to unify the ingredients. If you prefer a creamier texture, feel free to add a splash of almond milk to reach your desired consistency.

Before serving, generously top your golden turmeric latte overnight oats with sliced banana, a handful of chopped nuts, a sprinkle of shredded coconut, and an extra dash of cinnamon for added flavor and beautiful presentation.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy your wholesome and comforting breakfast!
