1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1 ripe peach, thinly sliced

1 small jalapeño, seeds removed and finely sliced

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh basil leaves (optional, for garnish)

Prepare the Peach and Jalapeño Mixture: In a small mixing bowl, combine the thinly sliced peaches and finely sliced jalapeño. Drizzle honey over the mixture, then gently toss to combine, ensuring the peaches are evenly coated. Season lightly with a pinch of salt and freshly cracked black pepper.

On the cream cheese side of one slice, sprinkle half of the grated sharp cheddar cheese.
