Ingredients

1 package (12 oz) wonton wrappers

1 pound ground beef (preferably 80/20 blend for optimal juiciness)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your choice of cheese)

1/2 cup diced pickles (dill or bread-and-butter, based on preference)

1/4 cup ketchup

1/4 cup mustard

1/4 cup diced onions (optional)

Olive oil or cooking spray for greasing the muffin tin

Fresh parsley, finely chopped, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). This will ensure a perfectly crispy wonton cup.

Prepare Wonton Wrappers: While the oven is warming up, lightly grease a mini muffin tin with olive oil or cooking spray. Gently press each wonton wrapper into the muffin tin, allowing them to shape into small cups. Make sure to leave some of the wrapper hanging over the edges for a lovely crispy finish.

Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Season generously with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Use a spatula to break up the beef as it cooks. Prepare until the beef is browned and fully cooked through, roughly 5-7 minutes. Remember to drain any excess grease after cooking.

Assemble Filling: Once the beef is cooked, take the skillet off the heat. Stir in the shredded cheese, diced pickles, and if you're using them, the diced onions. Mix thoroughly until the cheese is melted and everything is well combined into a gooey filling.

Fill Wonton Cups: Using a spoon, generously fill each wonton cup with the cheeseburger mixture, making sure to pack them nicely to utilize every bit of space.

Bake: Carefully place the muffin tin in your preheated oven. Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the edges of the wonton cups are crispy and golden brown.

Add Condiments: Once baked, remove the muffin tin from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes. Drizzle ketchup and mustard over the tops of each cup to taste.

Garnish and Serve: Carefully lift the wonton cups out of the muffin tin. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired, and serve warm to enjoy the full flavors.
