Ingredients

1 tube (16.3 oz) refrigerated flaky biscuit dough

6 large eggs

1/2 cup milk

1 cup sharp shredded cheddar cheese

1 lb breakfast sausage, crumbled and cooked until browned

1/4 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp onion powder

Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

Optional: Your favorite hot sauce for a spicy kick

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

Prepare the Biscuits: Open the biscuit dough package and gently separate the dough into individual biscuits. Arrange the biscuits on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until they rise and turn golden brown. Once baked, remove them from the oven and allow to cool slightly.

Whisk the Eggs: In a large mixing bowl, crack the eggs and add the milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Use a whisk to mix thoroughly until the ingredients are well combined and slightly frothy.

Scramble the Eggs: Heat a skillet over medium heat, then add 1 tablespoon of the melted butter. Once the butter has melted and is bubbly, pour in the egg mixture. Cook the eggs gently, stirring consistently for about 5-7 minutes, or until they are fully cooked, fluffy, and slightly creamy. Remove the skillet from the heat.

Assemble the Sliders: Carefully slice each biscuit in half horizontally. On the bottom half of each biscuit, add a generous spoonful of the scrambled eggs, followed by a good portion of the cooked breakfast sausage. Finish with a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese on top.

Top and Brush: Place the top half of the biscuit over the filling to close the slider. Using a brush, lightly coat the tops of the biscuits with the remaining melted butter for added flavor and shine.

Final Bake: Return the assembled biscuit sliders to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops of the biscuits are a delicious golden brown.

Serve and Enjoy: Remove the sliders from the oven and let them cool for a moment before serving. Enjoy them warm, with hot sauce on the side if you like a little heat!
