1 cup almond flour

1/4 cup vanilla protein powder

1/4 cup coconut flour

1/4 cup coconut sugar (or your preferred sweetener)

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp sea salt

2 large eggs

1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce

1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of your choice)

1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Cinnamon Sugar Coating:

1/4 cup coconut sugar (or your preferred sweetener)

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1 tbsp melted coconut oil (for brushing)

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). While it's warming, lightly grease a donut pan to prevent sticking.

    Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly combine the almond flour, vanilla protein powder, coconut flour, coconut sugar, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and sea salt. Whisk these ingredients together until they are evenly blended without any lumps.

      Combine Wet Ingredients: In a separate medium-sized bowl, whisk together the eggs, unsweetened applesauce, almond milk, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and well incorporated.

        Combine Mixtures: Gradually incorporate the wet mixture into the dry mixture, gently stirring with a spatula or wooden spoon until everything is uniformly combined and no lumps remain.

          Fill the Donut Pan: Carefully spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity approximately 3/4 full. Alternatively, for ease and tidiness, you may use a piping bag to fill the donut cavities.
